The A. Lange & Sohne company was founded in Glashütte, Germany by Adolph Lange. Adolph Lange had a vision of producing fine watches and in 1845 his vision evolved into a small workshop, which, as time passed, further evolved into a factory. Walter Lange, his great-grandson, was determined to rebuild, restore and revitalize the Lange legacy. And rebuild he did!
